Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore Debuts as 907-HP One-Off Supercar
Lamborghini has revived its Tricolore heritage with the debut of the one-off Temerario Tricolore, a bespoke supercar created through the brand’s Ad Personam personalisation programme.
Developed in collaboration with Lamborghini Centro Stile, the special model draws inspiration from the Italian flag and continues a design theme last used on the Gallardo LP 550-2 around 15 years ago.
The Temerario Tricolore also demonstrates the scope of Lamborghini’s bespoke personalisation programme. Rather than introducing a new mechanical variant, the project uses the existing supercar as a canvas for a highly individual exterior and interior specification.
Stephan Winkelmann, chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said the project translates Italian national pride into a contemporary interpretation of the super sports car.
The model also highlights how Lamborghini’s customers can use the Ad Personam programme to develop vehicles with highly specific visual identities.
Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore design
The exterior combines contrasting colours inspired by the Italian flag.
The upper section is finished in Bianco Monocerus, while the lower aerodynamic surfaces are finished in Blu Marinus Shiny. Moreover, Nero Noctis accents appear throughout the vehicle, including the lightweight wheels, exterior mirrors, and engine cover.
A green, white, and red stripe runs along the centre of the vehicle, providing the most direct reference to the Tricolore theme.
The design continues inside the cabin. Nero Ade black upholstery forms the primary interior finish, while Rosso Alala contrast stitching adds colour throughout the cabin.
Additionally, Tricolore lettering is embroidered into the door panels, reinforcing the connection between the exterior treatment and the Italian-inspired interior.
The overall design, therefore, combines Lamborghini’s contemporary styling language with a visual reference to the brand’s Italian identity.
Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore performance
Despite its extensive visual changes, the Temerario Tricolore retains the production Temerario’s electrified powertrain.
The system produces 907 horsepower by combining a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with three electric motors.
Furthermore, the combustion engine can reach 10,000 rpm, giving the Temerario a character substantially different from that of the naturally aspirated V10-powered Lamborghini models that preceded it.
The Tricolore also represents a significant technological departure from the original Gallardo LP 550-2 Tricolore.
The 2011 model relied on a naturally aspirated V10, rear-wheel drive, and an available six-speed manual transmission. By comparison, the new Temerario uses turbocharging, all-wheel drive, and a dual-clutch transmission alongside its hybrid system.
As a result, the latest Tricolore illustrates how Lamborghini has moved from naturally aspirated, predominantly mechanical performance towards electrified powertrains without abandoning the visual drama associated with its special editions.
The one-off Temerario Tricolore ultimately serves as both a tribute to Lamborghini’s Italian heritage and a showcase for its current performance technology.
Its bespoke specification also demonstrates Ad Personam’s role in creating highly individual Lamborghini models, while the 907-horsepower hybrid powertrain firmly places the special edition within the brand’s modern performance era.
