Riyadh Air to Launch Daily Direct Bangkok Flights in November
Riyadh Air has commenced direct flights between Saudi Arabia and Thailand, linking King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok.
The airline will initially operate three flights per week on the route, with the frequency set to increase to daily services from November 9. Bangkok becomes Riyadh Air’s 12th destination since the carrier operated its inaugural flight in June 2026.
The new route provides a direct connection between Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport (RUH) and Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK), strengthening air links between the two markets.
Riyadh Air will initially offer three weekly services between the Saudi and Thai capitals. From November 9, the airline will increase the frequency to daily flights to meet demand and support greater connectivity.
Riyadh Air Bangkok flights
The addition of Bangkok takes Riyadh Air’s direct network from Riyadh to 12 destinations, marking another step in the Saudi carrier’s international network expansion.
Bangkok is the airline’s 12th destination since its inaugural flight in June 2026, further expanding its presence across key international markets.
Riyadh Air CEO Tony Douglas said the direct connection between the two capitals supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by promoting stronger trade, tourism and cultural links between Saudi Arabia and Thailand.
The new service also enhances direct aviation connectivity between the Kingdom and Thailand, while supporting Riyadh Air’s broader strategy to build an expanding international network from the Saudi capital.
