UAE Lists Second Sovereign Retail T-Sukuk on Nasdaq Dubai

The UAE Ministry of Finance has officially listed its second five-year Sovereign Retail T-Sukuk on Nasdaq Dubai, with secondary-market trading now underway following the completion of subscription, allocation and settlement.

The offering attracted AED285 million in subscription orders, around 5.7 times the AED50 million target issuance size. The latest tranche also expanded participation across different investor groups and nationalities.

Retail Investors Drive Strong Demand

Investors subscribing for AED10,000 or less accounted for 75% of all applications, while UAE nationals represented 69% of overall demand.

The offering attracted investors from 110 nationalities. Women accounted for 17% of total invested capital, while investors under 25 also showed strong participation.

Nearly half of the unique subscribers were returning investors from the inaugural Sovereign Retail T-Sukuk tranche.

Secondary Trading Opens on Nasdaq Dubai

With secondary-market trading now live, investors can buy additional Sukuk or sell their holdings through authorised brokers. Market makers and liquidity providers are supporting order-book execution, providing greater flexibility for investors.

The listed Sukuk has a five-year tenor, semi-annual profit distributions, and a minimum investment threshold of AED 1,000.

The subscription period ran from September 23 to 28, 2026. The Ministry of Finance said the latest issuance supports broader participation in the national economy, provides government-backed savings options, and strengthens the UAE’s AED-denominated capital markets.
