Wynn Al Marjan Island Confirms September 2027 Opening in Ras Al Khaimah
Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is set to open in September 2027, with the new timeline confirming the launch month for the UAE’s major integrated resort development.
The resort was previously expected to open in spring 2027, but the timeline was pushed back following logistical, shipping and supply-chain disruptions that affected construction and material deliveries.
The development is being built on Al Marjan Island and represents an investment of around $5.7 billion. The project is being developed by Wynn Resorts in partnership with local entities in Ras Al Khaimah.
Wynn Al Marjan Island will feature more than 1,500 hotel rooms, suites and villas, alongside restaurants, entertainment venues, luxury retail, pools, a marina and a private beach.
The resort has also received the UAE’s first commercial gaming operator licence, with gaming forming one part of a wider hospitality and entertainment offering.
Construction has progressed through major milestones, including the topping out of the main tower. Interior fit-outs and preparations for the resort’s opening are continuing as the project moves towards its revised launch date.
A new bridge connecting the resort with the wider UAE road network is also under development, with completion planned for late 2026. The infrastructure is expected to improve road connectivity between Al Marjan Island, Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The September 2027 opening will mark a major new addition to Ras Al Khaimah’s tourism and hospitality pipeline as the emirate continues to develop Al Marjan Island as a destination for international visitors.
