Empower Approves $119.13M Cash Dividend for H1 2026
Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower) will distribute an interim cash dividend of AED437.5 million ($119.13 million) to shareholders for the first half of 2026.
The dividend is equivalent to 4.375 fils per share and represents 43.75% of the company’s paid-up capital.
Empower, the world’s largest district cooling services provider and a company listed on the Dubai Financial Market, said the payout follows a decision by its Board of Directors.
The distribution is in line with Empower’s dividend policy and reflects the company’s commitment to providing shareholders with sustainable and predictable returns. The company has maintained semi-annual dividend distributions since its listing on the Dubai Financial Market in November 2022.
Empower’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), held in March 2026, approved cash dividends of AED437.5 million for the second half of 2025.
With the AED437.5 million interim dividend announced for the first half of 2026, Empower continues to follow its dividend policy, which provides for an annual dividend distribution of AED875 million for both 2025 and 2026.
Since its listing on the Dubai Financial Market in November 2022, Empower has paid approximately AED3.01 billion in cumulative cash dividends to shareholders. Following the payment of the H1 2026 interim dividend, cumulative cash dividends distributed since listing will reach approximately AED3.45 billion.
The latest dividend distribution is supported by Empower’s strong financial and operational performance during the first half of 2026.
Empower reported revenue of AED1.519 billion for H1 2026, representing a 4.5% year-on-year increase, while net profit after tax rose 16.2% to AED468 million. EBITDA reached AED773 million, up 7.5% year-on-year, reflecting continued business growth and improved operational efficiency.
The company continues to pursue its growth and expansion strategy while maintaining a disciplined approach to capital allocation and financial management.
Empower’s established business model and cash generation support its ability to maintain shareholder distributions while funding ongoing operations, infrastructure development and future growth opportunities.
“The distribution of AED437.5 million for the first half of 2026 reflects Empower’s continued commitment to delivering sustainable and predictable returns to our shareholders while continuing to invest in the long-term growth of our business,” said Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.
“Dubai’s continued economic and urban development is creating further opportunities for the district cooling sector. We remain focused on expanding our infrastructure and capacity in line with growing demand, while enhancing operational efficiency, leveraging advanced technologies and maintaining financial discipline. This balanced approach enables us to pursue our growth ambitions while continuing to create sustainable long-term value for our shareholders and other stakeholders,” added Bin Shafar.
