UK-UAE Trade Could Reach £30B by 2030

UK-UAE trade could exceed £30 billion ($39.6 billion) by 2030, but both countries should build on the Gulf trade agreement by introducing a bilateral economic pact tailored to artificial intelligence, data and other technology-driven industries, Lord Davies of Abersoch has told Arabian Business.

The UK Co-Chair of the UAE-UK Business Council said trade had recovered strongly from disruptions caused by the regional conflict earlier this year. He also highlighted growing British investment in the Emirates, particularly across digital finance, life sciences and clean energy.

Trade between the UAE and UK has already surpassed £25 billion ($33 billion), with more than 14,000 British companies exporting goods and services to the Emirates.
