Dubai Launches GenDubAI Platform to Help Parents Guide Children’s AI Use
Dubai has introduced a new artificial intelligence education platform to help parents better understand their children’s use of AI and guide them towards safer and more responsible engagement with the technology.
The GenDubAI platform has been developed by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), in partnership with the Community Development Authority (CDA) and Dubai Future Foundation. It is designed for families with children aged between 8 and 15.
Accessible in both Arabic and English, the mobile-friendly platform features interactive educational resources that enable families to learn about AI together, explore its benefits and potential risks, and foster creativity and critical thinking.
The initiative also seeks to increase parental participation in children’s engagement with emerging technologies, emphasising digital privacy, responsible AI use and alignment with the UAE’s cultural values.
GenDubAI is a digital learning platform that introduces parents and children to artificial intelligence through practical advice and interactive learning activities.
The platform aims to familiarise parents with AI fundamentals, the tools their children might encounter and the opportunities and challenges that come with using the technology.
It also answers frequently asked questions about AI and offers guidance to help children use AI tools effectively while strengthening their creative abilities and critical thinking skills.
Developed with the UAE’s cultural values in mind, the platform seeks to make AI education accessible to families, extending learning opportunities beyond schools and technology-focused communities.
GenDubAI is specifically intended for families with children between the ages of 8 and 15.
