UAE Petrol Prices for November 2026 to Be Announced Next Week
The UAE is expected to announce its petrol and diesel prices for November 2026 next week, with motorists and businesses awaiting the latest rates.
Fuel prices rose significantly across all categories for the third consecutive month in October, following a notable decline in July. Prices have fluctuated throughout the year, with substantial increases in April, May and June reflecting movements in global oil markets. The ongoing US-Israeli war on Iran and escalating regional tensions have further disrupted oil supplies, contributing to volatility in international energy markets.
Petrol and diesel prices declined in January and February before recording a modest increase in March, bringing the first quarter of the year to a close. However, three consecutive months of sharp increases subsequently drove up fuel costs across all categories, placing additional pressure on motorists and businesses.
Although prices fell in July, the downward trend was short-lived, with increases returning in August, September and October. Motorists and businesses are now waiting for the next monthly announcement to determine whether fuel costs will rise or fall again.
In October 2026, fuel retailers are charging AED 4.21 ($1.15) per litre for E-Plus 91 petrol and AED 4.80 ($1.31) per litre for diesel. Both rates are significantly higher than their December 2025 levels of AED 2.51 ($0.68) and AED 2.85 ($0.78), respectively.
Super 98 and Special 95 petrol have also become considerably more expensive compared with the end of 2025. Super 98 increased from AED 2.70 ($0.74) to AED 4.40 ($1.20) per litre, while Special 95 rose from AED 2.58 ($0.70) to AED 4.28 ($1.17) per litre.
In October 2026, UAE fuel prices recorded the following month-on-month increases:
- Super 98: AED 4.40 ($1.20) per litre, up 15.79% from AED 3.80 ($1.03) in September.
- Special 95: AED 4.28 ($1.17) per litre, up 15.99% from AED 3.69 ($1) in September.
- E-Plus 91: AED 4.21 ($1.15) per litre, up 16.62% from AED 3.61 ($0.98) in September.
- Diesel: AED 4.80 ($1.31) per litre, up 11.63% from AED 4.30 ($1.17) in September.
The UAE’s Fuel Price Committee froze petrol prices in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, temporarily preventing adjustments to fuel rates.
In March 2021, the government lifted the price controls as international oil prices began climbing, reinstating a system under which market conditions determine domestic petrol prices.
Since then, fluctuations in global crude oil prices have continued to influence petrol and diesel rates across the UAE, with monthly adjustments reflecting movements in international energy markets.
